Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits for dues-paying alumnae, and when do they take effect?

Beginning November 1, several Pi Phi resources will become benefits for alumnae who have paid their annual international alumnae dues. These include:

  • Submitting Recruitment Information Forms (RIFs)
  • Find My Sisters
  • The Resource Library
  • Pi Phi Connections, our new digital networking community
  • All three printed copies of The Arrow

Other BetaBase resources and services will remain available to all members, including profile updates and form submissions.

Does this change affect my membership in Pi Beta Phi?

No, every alumna remains a valued member of Pi Beta Phi, regardless of dues status. This change does not affect your membership in our sisterhood. It simply connects access to certain dues supported resources and services with the payment of annual international alumnae dues.

What if I pay my international alumnae dues through my alumnae club?

If you pay your international alumnae dues through your alumnae club, your club will submit your payment to Pi Beta Phi Headquarters on your behalf. Please keep in mind that payments submitted through alumnae clubs may take additional time to process and appear in BetaBase. We encourage clubs to submit payments as soon as possible to help members maintain uninterrupted access to their dues-paying benefits.

Are international alumnae dues the same as a donation to Pi Beta Phi Foundation?

No. While both strengthen Pi Beta Phi, they serve different purposes. Annual international alumnae dues support the Fraternity’s member experience, including resources, communications and services that help sisters stay connected throughout their lives. Donations to Pi Beta Phi Foundation are tax-deductible charitable contributions that help fund scholarships, leadership development, literacy initiatives and other opportunities that advance our sisterhood.

How do I pay my international alumnae dues?

Annual international alumnae dues are $45, and there are several convenient ways to pay:

  • Online: Pay securely online here. Your payment will be reflected in BetaBase immediately.
  • Through your alumnae club: If your club collects international alumnae dues, you can pay through your club.
  • By mail: Send a check to Pi Beta Phi Headquarters at 1154 Town & Country Commons Drive, Town & Country, MO 63017.

Payments made by check or through an alumnae club require additional processing time. Paying online is the fastest way to ensure your dues-paying benefits are available without interruption.

What happens if I don't pay my international alumnae dues by November 1?

You’ll always be a valued member of Pi Beta Phi! Beginning November 1, access to certain resources and services will be reserved for alumnae who have paid their annual international alumnae dues. You can pay your dues at any time during the fiscal year to enjoy these benefits. Once your online payment is complete, your access will be restored.

I've already paid my dues. Why can't I access my benefits?

If you’ve already paid your international alumnae dues but aren’t able to access a resource, your payment may still be processing. Online payments are reflected in BetaBase immediately, while payments made by check or through an alumnae club may take additional time. If your payment has been processed and you’re still experiencing issues, please contact Pi Beta Phi Headquarters for assistance.

How do I know if I've already paid my international alumnae dues?

You can check your dues-paying status by logging in to BetaBase.

Do I need to pay international alumnae dues every year?
