Welcome

Welcome to the website dedicated to the Pi Beta Phi alumnae residing in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The Atlanta Alumnae Club members represent over 20 chapter, various professions, and every generation. The Atlanta Alumnae Club focuses on socializing, philanthropy, and promoting the values of Pi Beta Phi in all aspects of our lives.

Pi Beta Phi Fraternity was founded at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, on April 28, 1867, as I. C. Sorosis. Pi Beta Phi was the first national secret college society of women to be modeled after the Greek-letter fraternities of men.  During a time when few women were admitted to colleges and universities, Pi Beta Phi created a feeling of unity among pioneering women.  Pi Beta Phi was created with values and a mission which still guide us. We still hold true to the ideals of intellect and integrity, leadership, betterment of society, honor and respect, and sincere friendship.

The Atlanta Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi was chartered on November, 30, 1921. The mission of this organization, the Atlanta Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi, shall be to further the friendships of members of Pi Beta Phi, to strengthen the local chapter and international organization, and to to aid in the maintenance of Arrowmont and other Pi Beta Phi philathropies.

"The mission of Pi Beta Phi is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential, and enrich lives through community service."
