The mission of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for women is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential and enrich lives through community service.

Pi Phi Update

The women of Pi Beta Phi have started this year off with a bang!  First semester is almost over and we couldn't be happier with the experiences we've had this semester  Here are some of our favorite moments!

Arrowspike 2011

Pi Phi's Show their Support for Literacy at Arrowspike

Every fall, Pi Phi presents their philanthropy event Arrowspike.  This year's theme was "I'm Feelin' This".  We hosted a campus-wide volleyball tournament to raise money for our philanthropic organization, First Book.  As usual, we hosted lip-syncs as well for the fraternities.  We had a fantastic time supporting literacy while eating, playing volleyball and playing lawn games like cornhole.

Lovin' Blue II

We love to spend time out and about on campus.  Everyone was excited when we ran into Blue II on a walk.  We stopped and gave him lots of Pi Phi love!

Pi Phi Philanthropy Phun!

One Fish. Two Fish. Wine and Silver Blue Fish. We Wish. You Wish...Everyone Could Read.

During last winter's formal recruitment, we ordered these new shirts to show our support for reading.  One of Pi Beta Phi's main goals is to increase literacy rates all over the world.  The ability to read is one of the most powerful abilities anyone can have.  Without reading what can you really do?  We can't wait to unveil our new shirts for formal recruitment 2012!

 Homecoming 2011

Homecoming 2011

Pi Phi was ready to go and prepared for homecoming this year.  Each homecoming the sororities and fraternities pair up to create lawn decorations to show their support for Butler Homecoming and our football team.  After winning lawn decorations last year, we knew we had to bring all we had this year.  The homecoming theme was 'the 90s'.  We chose The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for our main theme and put a spin on the name to relate it to Butler so that the new name was The Fresh Prince of Butl-Air.

Pi Phis in London

Pi Phi Around the World

The women of Indiana Gamma wish our Pi Phis Abroad the best!  Now that a new semester is heading our way, we can't wait to see Pi Phis who have been abroad and will miss those who will be taking off.  Above, two Pi Phis in London for the Royal Wedding shoot their Pi Phi arrows!
