Our Mission
The mission of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for women is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential and enrich lives through community service.
Pi Phi Update
The women of Pi Beta Phi, proud of a great second semester, are relaxing this summer. Although we are enjoying ourselves, vacationing to tropical places and hanging out with our friends and families right now, we can't wait until we are back at Butler. We are pumped for the 2009-2010 school year and for the chance to be back together in our big, white house on Hampton Drive!
Until then, we can only relive our glory days and send a million Facebook messages to our sisters across the nation. Below are some of our favorite moments from Spring 2009. I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as we enjoyed living them!
Snow Day!!!
Hey, we can't find our white house in all this snow! Nothing could have been a better way to spend our Snow Day than having an adventure with our sisters! In fact, this day had special significance because it is a sister's FIRST SNOW DAY EVER! Miss San Diego now has memories of snowball fighting, making snow angels with special Pi Phi halos, and even digging a car out of the mounds made by Indy snow plows. It was a day we'll never forget!

White Rose Bowl 2009
Sigma Nu's White Rose Bowl is always an exciting time in second semester. Pi Phi Angels work hard all semester with our SNu coaches to perfect our PowderPuff skills. All of our hard work pays off when on game day when we huddle up to show some Pi Phi love before we get down to business on the field.
Teeter Totter 2009
Lambda Chi Alpha brings out the big kid in all of us during their annual Teeter Totter event to support the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma. The Lambdas were amazed with the showing of Pi Phis at their event this year and we had tons of fun riding on their giant teeter totter morning, noon and even in the middle of the night!
Pi Beta Phierce!
Pi Phis were looking totally fierce when they met with Christian Siriano, winner of Project Runway. After listening to Christian share his experience in the fashion world, we couldn't wait to introduce him to the angels of Pi Beta Phierce! Christian rocked out the Pi Phi Arrow. Did we mention that this picture is fierce?
Swing into Spring 2009
Every spring, IN Gammas raise money for FirstBook at our philanthropy event, Swing into Spring. This year, we introduced brand new events, including a Fraternity lipsync competition. Above, the men of Delta Tau Delta celebrate a third place victory with their Pi Phi coaches. Not to mention, they are totally rocking those tuxedo shirts and Power Ranger hats!
Last Laughs
The end of the school year is always a time of mixed emotions. We are sad to say goodbye to our Pi Phi family, but we are excited to take a break from academics for a few months of fun! To send our wisest members off into the real world, we all gather one last time before classes end to get in a few last laughs with (and at) our Senior Angels. It is a great time for bonding and for inheriting more Pi Phi stuff than any angel could ever need!
