This position works in collaboration with all Headquarters departments as well as volunteers to manage all aspects of Fraternity communications. Pi Phi Congratulates Programming and Education Director
Shawn Eagleburger, Programming and Education Director, Headquarters, was recently announced at FarmHouse’s Biennial Conclave as the International Executive Board Vice President. The Board sets the organization’s goals, evaluates the Fraternity’s Executive Director, sets policy and ensures fiscal soundness as well as serves as a resource to chapters and associations. Shawn has been serving on the Board since 2008. Congratulations Shawn!
Arrowmont Shares news on its Future
Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts announced on Monday it will remain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for the foreseeable future. Pi Beta Phi has a deep respect for Arrowmont as a world-renowned school of arts and crafts with international recognition and supports Arrowmont's recent decision to stay in Gatlinburg. In the 2009-2010 academic year, Pi Beta Phi donated more than 721,000 brand-new books to low-income families through its partnership with First Book®. More than half of these books were generated through TheLiteracySite.com, where just visiting the site and clicking daily equals books for kids. Pi Phis should feel very proud of this accomplishment. It is our dedication to eliminating the barrier of illiteracy that is making a difference in the lives of children throughout the United States and Canada.
