Welcome to the online home of the ladies of Pi Beta Phi at the University of Oklahoma! Please take a look at a letter from our Chapter President, Amy Smith:
"Since the day I received my bid card to Pi Beta Phi, I knew I was about to become incredibly blessed by associated with this group of smart, loving, beautiful, hard-working women. The amount of love and laughter that Pi Phi has brought into my life has been truly unbelievable. Being a Pi Phi is more than membership in an organization and it is more than attending events with your friends. Being a Pi Phi is a special opportunity to connect with woman from all across the country who cherish the values of philanthropy, intellect, integrity, and sincere friendship.
Joining Pi Phi is an unforgettable experience that can open many doors during your college and adult life. Each girl's experience as a Pi Phi is somewhat different, depending on her personal goals and preferences. Yet, I know that every girl in the chapter can confirm the undeniable bonds of sisterhood that are developed between Pi Phis during their time at OU.
At the University of Oklahoma, Pi Phi thrives off of a well-established legacy of scholarship, integrity, leadership, and friendship in young women since 1910. When a girl becomes a Pi Phi, she is committing herself to the lifelong sisterhood of the wine and blue. The inseparable bonds that Pi Phis share were evident to me at our Centennial Celebration last November where thousands of alumnae attended to reconnect with their memories at 1701 Elm Avenue. The Oklahoma Alpha chapter continues this standard of excellence by striving to positively impact our campus and community on a daily basis.
As I prepare for my last year at OU, I know that my experiences from Pi Phi have made my college days the best days of my life. Whether studying by the fireplace, performing in University Sing, finding costumes for date parties, living in our beautiful home, or welcoming our newest class of angels on Bid Day- these are the best days of my life!
As you look over our website, I hope that you're able to gain a little more understanding about our heaven on earth!
-Amy Smith, 2011 Chapter President
