A Message from the President:
What a privilege it is to be an Arkansas Alpha Pi Beta Phi! From the moment I opened my bid day card over two years ago, I knew I had become a part of something incredibly special. The Arkansas Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi holds true to our six core values: integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, philanthropic service to others, personal and intellectual growth, and, most strongly, sincere friendship. This chapter of girls truly acts as a family. While we all come from different places, it is easy to see that without a doubt, each and every member of our chapter was meant to be a Pi Phi here at the University of Arkansas.
Pi Phi has been able to get involved in many different ways on campus and in the community! This past Fall, we took part in Greek Week, Homecoming events, and had the privilege of being involved in other Greek organization’s events on campus as well as our own. In October, we held our 4th Annual Pi Beta Phi Family 5K event. Here, we were able to get not only other Greek chapters involved, but also the people of the community who were able to come out for a fun event that supported children’s literacy. We also hosted our annual Spaghetti Supper in November, where we opened our home for everyone to enjoy a home cooked meal and lots of fun and laughter! It has been a treat to serve the community of Fayetteville over the past semester.
After the past two and a half years, I can look back at the day I found out I would be a Pi Phi and see that I had no idea just how wonderful this group of girls would be. From functions to sisterhood events, living in the house, community service events, and everything in between, Pi Phi has helped me to create so many wonderful friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. The amount of love and laughter Pi Phi has brought into my life is unbelievable. I have found a group of sisters that I will cherish forever!
I hope you enjoy looking around the website! If there is ever anything you have questions about, please contact us! We would love to hear from you!
Yours in Pi Phi,
Elizabeth Milburn
