Member Obligations

Membership in Pi Beta Phi is a privilege, and responsibilities come with that privilege. Pi Beta Phi’s Member Obligations are the commitments each member makes to the Fraternity and her chapter each year. All the obligations are important, align with our core values and will help ensure you are proud of the woman you become through Pi Beta Phi. It’s your responsibility to understand these obligations and act accordingly.

Understanding your obligations

Whether this is your first time signing the Member Obligations document or your fourth, we want to ensure you understand what you are about to sign. If you’re a parent, family member or friend, it’s important you know what your Pi Beta Phi loved one is expected to commit to as a member. The Critical Conversations® webisode will help you fully understand each obligation Pi Beta Phi members commit to annually.

Annual Signing

Once signed as a New Member, these obligations apply to your entire collegiate membership. You’ll acknowledge them each year as a reminder and recommitment. Every New Member and initiated member must sign their Member Obligations for the academic year.
