Pi Beta Phi Mourns the Loss of University of Colorado, Boulder Member
ST. LOUIS – It is with great sadness Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women reports the death of collegiate member Madeline Globe. She was a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Communications.
Friends and family referred to Madeline as a woman of great intelligence, beauty and charm. One of her Pi Phi sisters commented that Maddy was “a sweet, down-to-earth, funny and spirited young woman who valued friendship and loved the little things in life.” The chapter feels a great loss and will miss her deeply.
Madeline was a lifelong Colorado resident with a great passion for the outdoors, especially the Rocky Mountains. She recently completed a semester abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France and a marketing/public relations internship in Barcelona, Spain.
“We are deeply saddened to hear of Madeline’s passing,” said Grand President Paula Shepherd. “During times of tragedy, we hope that the strong bonds of sisterhood within the chapter bring comfort to the women of Colorado Alpha. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Globe family and all who knew Maddy.”
Condolence letters can be sent to: The Colorado Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, 890 11th Street, Boulder, Colorado, 80302.
