While five Directors provide specific leadership in the areas of:

  • Chapter Operations/Advisors
  • Membership
  • Finance/Housing

A member of Grand Council directly supervises the work of each Director.

Directors are important volunteer leaders because they contribute to the direction and focus of the Fraternity's strategic plan, and also help accomplish those goals. The strategic plan focuses on three main areas: lifelong loyal members, a sustainable club model and broad resources to fuel growth. By focusing on these goals, Pi Beta Phi is committed to being recognized as a premier club for women by providing enrichment to its members and contributing to the betterment of society.

Experience serving above the local level is important, as Directors develop experience and expertise as a regional officer that prepares them for their Director role.
