Lobbying Opportunity for Pi Beta Phi Members

Advocate for the fraternity/sorority experience by joining Pi Beta Phi’s lobbying team! We are looking for passionate collegiate and alumnae members who would like to share the benefits of their Pi Phi experience April 8–10, 2019 in Washington, D.C., as part of the Fraternal Government Relations Coalition (FGRC). Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about legislation impacting our community on campuses, meet with Members of Congress to tell them why these issues are important and network with members of other National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) groups. Travel expenses to Washington, D.C., will be covered by Pi Beta Phi for all selected attendees.

  • Live (or have lived) in Pi Beta Phi chapter housing or are from chapters that are trying to establish fraternal housing on campus
  • Have extensive campus and/or community leadership experience
  • Possess a basic knowledge, experience or interest in politics and government
  • Preference is given to juniors and seniors
  • Are U.S. residents
