Congratulations, 2020–2021 Scholarship Recipients!
“I am thankful to have sisters and friends in Pi Beta Phi who support my academic endeavors and future goals. I hope one day I will be able to help sisters achieve their goals, just as you are helping me achieve mine.”
— Pi Beta Phi Foundation Scholarship Recipient
Thanks to the generosity of Pi Phis, parents and friends, Pi Beta Phi Foundation is able to support our members’ academic goals with scholarship awards. Through undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships and Alumnae Continuing Education (ACE) Scholarships, Pi Phis can achieve their academic potential and pursue their dreams.
We are excited to announce that 116 Pi Phis will receive scholarships for the 2020–2021 academic year totaling $272,900. The women selected to receive scholarships and fellowships demonstrate financial need in addition to exceptional academic achievement and service to Pi Beta Phi and their communities.

Congratulations to all the women receiving awards, and thank you to the members of the scholarship committees for the many hours spent reviewing applications!

In keeping with our Foundation’s investment policy, our scholarship funds are valued as of December 31 each year and award amounts are determined in late January. While 2019 ended with an exceptionally strong market, our economy has changed with the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because our investment policies are designed to responsibly steward resources and maintain consistency from year to year, we’re able to award scholarship amounts as approved by our Trustees in early 2020. We hope these need-based awards provide needed financial assistance to our members and help them continue their education in these challenging times. Thank you to all the sisters and friends who make these scholarships possible through gifts to our Foundation. Now, more than ever, your support makes an immeasurable difference in the lives of our members.
