Convention 2019

In the scope of a biennium, four days is less than half a percent. Four days can fly by, and four days later you might not even remember them. Four days can be no big deal.

Or, those four days can be everything. Think of all you can do with four days. 96 hours is a lot of time. Each Pi Beta Phi Convention is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Together, Pi Phis conduct the formal business of our Fraternity, take time to celebrate milestones of our sisters who are excelling and will learn and grow together.

At the 2019 Convention — those four days — will forever have an impact on our Fraternity. Sisters saw the strength of Pi Phi in the pride of our members. They saw that fun and friendship are at the core of Pi Beta Phi. And, they left convinced that Pi Beta Phi must be a leader in addressing the issues facing fraternal organizations.

The 72nd Biennial Pi Beta Phi Convention promised to be monumental, and it was! View the 2019 Convention photos to relive the event.

Sisters and Friends SHINE THROUGH for Pi Beta Phi

Convention attendees celebrated the success of the monumental SHINE THROUGH campaign. As of the close of convention, we have exceeded our goal by raising more than $31.8 million to sustain Pi Phi into our next 150 years. Imagine all the opportunities created through gifts to support leadership development, scholarships, housing, literacy initiatives and operations. Our sisters truly turned unending loyalty into endless impact, and Pi Beta Phi will forever benefit from this generosity. Learn more here.

Alumnae Initiates Join our Sisterhood

Four alumnae initiates were welcomed into the sisterhood of Pi Beta Phi. These women are uniquely connected to Pi Phi through philanthropic endeavors, professional achievements and strong values complementing those of the Fraternity. Read more about our newest sisters here.

Jon Gordon Inspires Positive Leadership

At Sunday’s General Session, best-selling author and keynote speaker Jon Gordon made attendees laugh, touched their hearts with stories about his family and gave them tips and strategies for being positive leaders. He shared his own testimony about struggling with negativity throughout his life and how a conversation with his wife prompted his desire to change and focus on positivity.

“If you influence even just one person, you’re a leader,” said Jon. “Being a positive leader doesn’t just make you better, it makes everyone around you better."
