On behalf of all of my sisters, I would like to welcome you to the webpage of the Illinois Beta-Delta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi! We hope this site can help you discover how incredible our chapter is and allow you to learn more about the women we call our sisters.

Founded in 1867, Pi Beta Phi is an international organization that prides itself in developing “friends and leaders for life.” Pi Beta Phi was founded on six esteemed principles: Integrity, Lifelong Commitment, Honor and Respect, Philanthropic Service to Others, Personal and Intellectual Growth, and Sincere Friendship. The women of this organization live these values and grow into elegant, talented, truly wonderful individuals who better themselves and the world. The women of the Illinois Beta-Delta chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Knox College are the epitome of these qualities.

I have only been a part of Pi Phi for a couple years, but in that year Pi Phi has brought me more things than I could ever ask for. My sisters push me to be the best me I can be. When I doubt myself they are always there with love and support to remind me of all that I have the ability to accomplish. My sisters are strong, independent, and intelligent women whose diversity in culture, intelligence, and opinion have taught me many things. The Beta Deltas are a wonderful group of women who work together to push each other to our full potential.

The alumni of the IL Beta Delta have so much to offer, and have given so much back to their Pi Phi home. They have given me, as well as everyone else, food, wisdom, and a shoulder to lean and even sometimes cry on. The alumni have given me such a perspective about life long commitment and the importance of holding Pi phi values even after you leave college. The alumni have most of all given me a role model to follow and look up to.

I am always happy to see one of my sisters around campus. That smiling face immediately sparks a warmth in my heart that can be replaced by no other. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm hug that brightens my day. I enjoy spending time with my sisters all over the Knox campus, whether it's supporting another sister, just hanging out at the house, or much needed Steak and Shake runs.

I have found many life long friendships both in and outside of the Pi Phi community. Pi Phi has given me such a huge connection to the Greek community on campus. Many say that Knox College is a small campus and they often say the same for its Greek community, but regardless of size Pi Beta Phi has made such a huge impact on my life. I can honestly say that I am forever changed for the better by the women in the letters of Pi Beta Phi. I am a Pi Phi for now and forever and I carry all that my sisters have given me wherever I go.
