A Letter From Our Chapter President:
Dear Friends,
It is with great pride that I welcome you to the Arizona Beta chapter of Pi Beta Phi here at Arizona State University. Being a Pi Phi is a truly unique experience, and one that we can only begin to demonstrate here on our website.
As one of the largest sororities on campus, Pi Beta Phi consistently strives to make a positive impact on the community and our fellow students. Each year we dedicate more than 3,000 hours of community service and $15,000 to our favorite charitable organizations.
Our chapter has recently been recognized as one of the top ten Pi Beta Phi chapters in the country with the likes of such prestigious schools as Pepperdine and Stanford University. Here at ASU, we took home the Responsibility Award for excellence in chapter organization and risk management. We were also finalists for ASU’s top Greek honor, which is the Chapter of the Year Award. As you can see, we work hard to maintain a stellar reputation both locally and nationally.
But being a Pi Phi is much more than the accomplishments we achieve throughout the year. First and foremost we are sisters. We share common bonds and values that we will cherish forever. These women are my best friends and confidants. Whether you need a study buddy or a shoulder to cry on, your Pi Phi sisters are there for you.
I have the greatest respect and admiration for my fellow Pi Phis. They are artists, engineers, dancers, philanthropists, interns and so much more. I know that ten years from now these women will be influential leaders in whatever career or path they choose.
Joining a women’s fraternity is a large commitment. In fact, it is a lifelong commitment. After we throw our caps at graduation, we begin yet another phase of our membership: alumnae life. This includes joining local alumnae clubs, networking opportunities and advising collegiate members. It is so fulfilling to know that no matter where you go, or what you do in life, a Pi Phi is there to support and encourage you.
Your college years will go by faster than you could ever imagine. Joining Pi Beta Phi has not only developed who I am as a person, but truly enriched my ASU experiences. I strongly encourage all of you to go through recruitment and find where you fit best…you will not regret it.
Please see our website to learn more about Pi Beta Phi at ASU.
Yours truly,
Britt Johnson
