Welcome to the DC Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi at the George Washington University! We are so happy that you have taken an interest in our chapter and are excited to share our sisterhood with you.

As the first sorority established on GW’s campus, Pi Phi has strong ties to the university and surrounding city of D.C. With members involved in the Colonial Inauguration Program, House Staff, College Republicans, College Democrats, Balance, Student Judicial Services, and many other organizations, Pi Phi’s are leaders on GW’s campus.

Tied together by our values of sincere friendship, lifelong commitment, integrity, honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, and philanthropic service, we are committed to being the best women we can be. Annually, we host the Pi Phi Wiffleball Tournament, raising money and awareness for our philanthropy, First Book.

With the nation’s capital as our backdrop, DC Alpha Pi Phi engages the city to enhance our sisterhood. Whether it’s a sisterhood shopping trip in Georgetown, or a tour of the US Capitol, Pi Phi is always having fun on the town!
