 From Our President

On behalf of the Iowa Gamma chapter of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity it is with pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to you while visiting our website. Pi Beta Phi has been providing a lifelong fraternal experience to young women since 1867. Sisterhood, friendship, and personal development are the foundations of Pi Beta Phi membership and have created a strong legacy at Iowa State University since 1877. This legacy has allowed me to get the most out of my college experience.

The women of Pi Beta Phi are both unique and extraordinary. They strive for accomplishments in both academics and involvement on campus and work within the community on everything from VEISHEA, Dance Marathon or the various philanthropic events sponsored through Pi Phi. These women have taught me the capabilities of learning to serve others and remain true to their friends. Many follow adventurous livelihoods while studying abroad in Morocco, Singapore or London, yet others find their true calling through student teaching here in Ames and as far away as Indonesia.

Pi Beta Phi has become the place I call home at Iowa State University. No matter what your interest or background is; Pi Phi has something to offer you. I invite you to browse our website and see all the different aspects that make up a Pi Beta Phi woman.
