From Our President

Welcome to the Iowa Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi!  We are so happy you’ve taken some time to look at our website and hope you get to see what it’s like to be a Pi Phi here at Iowa State University.

Joining Pi Phi was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  Being a member of this chapter has completely enhanced my time at ISU has given me opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise.  I’ve been able to live with some of the most amazing women, create lifelong friendships, and make lasting memories.  Some of my favorite college memories include football games, house parties, formals, philanthropy events, sisterhoods, and even just lounging around the house.

But what I really love about Pi Phi is that it gives each member the opportunity to make sorority life her own.  We encourage members to be actively involved with Pi Phi, but also to pursue dreams and passions outside of the chapter.  Many members can be seen in Government of the Student Body, Dance Marathon, Intramurals, and many other campus and community organizations, making their education all it can be.  Some can even be seen traveling the world on exciting study abroad programs!

No matter what you are looking for in a sorority, your experience is what you make of it.  I feel so privileged to be able to have been apart of Pi Phi and to have been able to experience all it has to offer.  Pi Phi truly has something for everyone and I hope that everyone has the opportunity to be apart of something as extraordinary.  I invite you to browse our website and see all the different aspects that make up Pi Phi life.

Pi Phi Love and Mine,

Analisa Ortiz
