Welcome to the website for the Arizona Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi, here at Northern Arizona University! I hope that your visit will provide you with a glimpse into the truly special experience of belonging to this exceptional group of women.
Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women was founded in 1867 with the vision of creating an organization that would contribute to the betterment of society and enrich the lives of its members forever. Here at NAU, this vision is being carried out nearly 150 years later.
Being a member of Pi Beta Phi (or “Pi Phi” as we have so affectionately been nicknamed) is more than being a member of a club that meets every week. It is contributing your time to philanthropic endeavors, succeeding academically and living according to a higher standard. Pi Phi truly is a way of life.
There are currently 134 Pi Beta Phi chapters in colleges throughout the United States and Canada. Though each campus is extremely diverse, Pi Phis at any university share the commitment to bettering their community. Around the Flagstaff area, you are sure to see a Pi Phi studying in the library, participating in intramural sports or volunteering at a local elementary school to promote literacy, our national philanthropy.
The sisterhood experienced in this chapter is truly unmatched. It has completely changed my college experience for the better and I know that the bonds I have formed here will be with me for the rest of my life.
I invite you to continue exploring our website and hope that it will increase your understanding of what it means to be a Pi Phi!
Sincerely,
The mission of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for women is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential and enrich lives through community service.
