Welcome Angels and friends to the Minnesota Alpha Chapter website of Pi Beta Phi! I'm so grateful to be a part of this wonderful chapter and to have the opportunity to serve as its president for this upcoming year of 2011.

Pi Phi has meant so much to me through my college years and has been the solid foundation of my successes here at the University of Minnesota. After receiving my bid card my freshman year I knew I was going to be a part of an organization greater than myself. Pi Phi has not only given me lifelong friends but has pushed me to strive academically and has given me the resources to do so. Through Pi Phi, I have involved myself in so many other organizations and philanthropic opportunities such as, Feed My Starving Children, Relay for Life, March of Dimes and so many more! With this, we also do our own philanthropic work for our charity First Book, which promotes literacy in children. As a chapter we have the opportunity to get involved in the campus community as well as the general community in many events and activities.

Pi Phi has enriched me with lifelong friendships that I never knew existed before I came to college. With a variety of personalities in our house everyone still shares a special connection and a deeper bond than most. Developing these friendships has given me the confidence to do so many things and has pushed me to accomplish my goals, without these friendships I know I would not be the person I am today. We all support, respect, and honor each others opinions and values. Pi Phi has given us a secret bond that we will be able to cherish and keep for the rest of our lives and this is something I am so grateful for.

In Pi Phi you will find our core values that we base our decisions, these are; Integrity, Honor and Respect, Lifelong Commitment, Personal and Intellectual Growth, Philanthropic Service to Others, and Sincere Friendship! In Pi Phi you will not only gain the experience of a lifetime but you also have the opportunity to hold a leadership position and the chance to work within the Greek community, both providing you with a large networking pool for your life after college!

Pi Phi has given me so much and I only hope that we can keep expanding our house to give more ladies the opportunities that so many of us have gained. I invite you all to explore our website to find out more on what it means to be a Pi Phi Angel! Also, feel free to visit our national website to see the greater picture of our organization.
