Welcome to Connecticut Beta!
Welcome to Pi Beta Phi at Yale University! Thank you for visiting our Web site.
Our chapter is proud to announce that at the 2009 National Pi Phi Convention, we won highest GPA, 1st place in Literacy Initiatives, and Honorable Mention for Panhellenic Excellence out of the 133 chapters present. We're honored!

We’re a chapter characterized by a membership possessed of diverse achievements and interests. Amongst my sisters, there are national rowing champions, teen jeopardy contestants, future olympians, non-profit founders, former Broadway singers, marathoners, Yale Dancers, Community Health Educator Co-Coordinators, YCC officers, SAC officers, Tour Guides, Yale Art Museum Curators, Reach Out Leaders, and multiple trilinguists. Pi Phi sisters are everywhere on campus — involved in 10 varsity sports and nearly 40 extracurricular activities.
Despite all that CT Beta’s sisters manage to juggle and accomplish, Pi Phi holds a special place in each of our lives. We value sisterhood and loyalty to one another above all else. For me, my Pi Phi sisters are the first people I call in times of crisis or celebration. Through frequent social events and sister bonding activities, we’ve developed relationships that we’ll treasure long after our graduations from Yale.
Becoming a Pi Phi will not only make your collegiate experience more meaningful, but will present you with new and exciting opportunities. Pi Phi values leadership, academics, service, intellectual development, and balance in our members and, in addition to fun social events, our programming strives to develop these qualities in us all.
As a member of Pi Beta Phi, you will discover a home away from home at Yale! A short walk from campus, our house on Crown Street serves as a gathering point throughout the week, not only housing our chapter meeting room but also providing kitchen space for philanthropy baking efforts and a TV room for weekly gatherings during Gossip Girl.
We invite you to visit our national Web site to learn even more about us. And we look forward to meeting you soon!
Pi Phi Love,
Niki Sri-Kumar, CT Beta Chapter President
