In the News New Volunteers Assume Positions Pi Beta Phi is proud to announce new Collegiate and Alumnae Regional Specialists have assumed their volunteer roles. Pi Beta Phi Announces 2009 Award Winners Congratulations to the collegiate and alumnae award winners of 2009! Watch the awards presentation and join us in congratulating the winners. Please note an update in the Collegiate Awards: Pi Beta Phi is excited to recognize 12 chapters for excellence in scholarship including California Alpha, Connecticut Beta, Illiinois Epsilon, North Carolina Beta, Missouri Gamma, Nebraska Gamma, Tennessee Beta, Virginia Epsilon, Illinois Zeta, New York Delta, Missouri Beta and California Beta. Congratulations to these top 12 chapters! New Local Literacy Initiative Makes it Easy to Donate Books Locally Pi Phi alumnae organizations can now bring new books to children in their local area through the First Book Marketplace. First Book's Marketplace has a new capability to allow alumnae organizations to raise funds and designate their donations to a First Book recipient group in their community. Donations will be used to purchase "credits" on the First Book Marketplace for registered recipient groups. The credits are similar to a gift certificate to an online store.
