Volunteer with pi phi
In 1867, 12 women laid the foundation for a sisterhood built on friendship, leadership and Lifelong Commitment. Over 150 years later, more than 2,000 dedicated volunteers serve and strengthen Pi Beta Phi every day. Engaged volunteers share their time to lead Pi Phi, regardless of age, location and ability. Their leadership gives members the opportunity to practice and grow their skills, while contributing to our collective success.

I choose to spend my time serving Pi Phi because what I got out of Pi Phi—and what I continue to get out of Pi Phi—fills my heart. It’s the people that make it special. I like to think I have an influence on growing our sisterhood. It’s important to model our commitment and show that when we say yes to Pi Phi, it’s not just for four years.
I feel so lucky to be able to give back to other chapters and younger members as a thank you for all Pi Phi has done for me.
It’s been such a joy to now serve on AAC and get to know alumnae from other chapters, as well as get to know the women on a deeper level who may have shared my time in the chapter.
One of my greatest joys in serving is the women I work with and wouldn’t have met otherwise.
Pi Phi gave me an amazing experience. I want to make sure that experience is there for collegians today all over the United States and Canada.
You don’t have to be a textbook definition of a leader to be a motivational influence and create positive change.
I’m helping to shape and develop young women through Pi Phi and practicing my own leadership skills at the same time. As I’ve developed relationships with collegians, I’ve also learned about bridging the gaps between their generation of sisters and mine.
