Apply for Scholarships

Applications for Pi Beta Phi scholarships open November 15 and must be completed by February 15. Scholarships are awarded for the following academic year. 

The application and all supporting materials are submitted through our online system. You only need to complete one application to be considered for all scholarships for which you’re eligible. All scholarship applications, including supporting materials and recommendations, must be completed by February 15 at 11:59 p.m. PST. No exceptions to this deadline will be made.

We notify all applicants whether they’ve received an award on or before May 31, and awards are disbursed to colleges and universities after August 15 each year.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Complete this application if you’re an undergraduate collegian member and will be enrolled full-time for the entire academic year of the scholarship award.

Graduate Fellowships

Complete this application if you graduated no more than four years ago and will be enrolled full-time in a graduate program for the entire academic year of the scholarship award.

ACE Scholarships

Complete this application if you have been out of undergraduate school for two or more years and will be enrolled part-time in a graduate program, career institute or vocational/technical school during the year of the scholarship award.

Eligibility

To be considered for a scholarship, you should be a collegian or alumnae member in good standing, with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA (or Canadian equivalent). Individual scholarships may have additional criteria, such as membership in a specific chapter.

What You'll Need to Apply

Personal information 

  • Permanent and school addresses
  • Your Initiation date
  • A list of Pi Phi, campus and community activities

Academic information 

  • Your cumulative undergraduate/graduate GPA
  • A copy of your most recent transcript

Financial information

  • Names and amounts of your current grants, loans, debts, scholarships and awards
  • Your income and your parents'/guardians' income
  • FAFSA estimated family contribution amount

Recommendations

  • Two recommendations: one from a Pi Phi alumna; one from a professor/faculty member or employer
  • Contact information, including email, for both recommendations

Resume (ACE applicants)

  • Your current resume and employment information for the past five years

Scholarships deadline

All scholarship applications, including supporting materials and recommendations, must be completed by February 15 at 11:59 p.m. PST. No exceptions to this deadline will be made.
