Officers Workshop

Each biennium, Officers Workshop provides a special opportunity for Pi Phi leaders to build relationships, receive leadership development programming and drive alignment on priorities. Many officers are attending their first Officers Workshop. For others, Officers Workshop has been a pretty regular occurrence.

But for all officers, this is a Pi Phi first – Virtual Officers Workshop.

This year’s program is designed to meet objectives that are relevant to where we are — today.

The format for this special virtual version of Officers Workshop consists of a series of three 90-minute webinars, each beginning at 7:00 p.m. Central time. Please see below for information about each of the upcoming webinars.

Back to school

Show your school spirit by wearing something from your alma mater – or even just your school colors!

7 – 7:25 p.m. | Welcome and sisterhood time
We’ll break into smaller groups for some Pi Phi inspired trivia. May the best team win!

7:25 – 7:35 p.m. | Resiliency panel
Gleaned from participants of the Resiliency Webinar Series the Fraternity offered this past summer, this panel will present ideas and the importance of self-care and resiliency, especially during challenging times.

7:35 – 7:40 p.m. | Short break

7:40 – 8:25 p.m. | Diversity, Equity (DEI) and Inclusion presentation by Christina Parle, M.S., and Suzette Walden Cole, Ph.D.
You may recognize these familiar faces from Pi Phi’s recent pre-recruitment trainings on topics such as Identity, Power and Privilege, and Implicit Bias. They will be joining us live to discuss why DEI is important for any organization to be discussing from both business and humanistic points of view.

8:25 – 8:30 p.m. | Preview of October content

8:30 – 8:45 p.m. | Bonus! Yoga-inspired relaxation, featuring Jan Kincaid Clifford, Indiana Delta
End your day in the best way: stretching and breathing. This 15-minute session will help you unwind your body and mind.
