Pi Phi Experience: As an alumna, I have served Pi Phi as an Alumnae Club President, Pi Beta Phi Foundation Stewardship Committee member, and Alumnae Engagement Director.

Professional Experience: For the past six and a half years I have worked at Carnegie Hall in New York City on the Special Events team. I fundraise and plan black tie gala evenings to support our wide ranging artistic, music education and social impact programs.

Why do you want to serve as an International Officer? I want to serve Pi Phi as an International Officer because it offers me a chance to closely support the strategic and operational development of our beloved Fraternity. We are a sisterhood built on servant leadership, and it means very much to me to help champion a premier member experience for collegians and alumnae across Pi Beta Phi.

Pi Phi Experience: Over the last three decades, I've held both local roles (Alumnae Club president and Alumnae Advisory Committee Chair) and international roles including my time as Resident Graduate Consultant, Collegiate Province President and most recently the past four years as the Alumnae Engagement Director for Region Four.

Professional Experience: I am currently the Director of Student Services for the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I've worked in higher education roles at small residential colleges as well as large research one universities for close to 30 years, including over 12 years in my current role. I have enjoyed creating a supportive environment for students to be successful.

Why do you want to serve as an International Officer? Pi Beta Phi was a pivotal part of my undergraduate experience. My participation enhanced my leadership development, cultivated my philanthropic interests and opened my eyes to what became my career path. I know that happened because of dozens of Pi Phi volunteers who gave their time and interest to the Fraternity. I've made it a priority to 'pay it forward' for future generations to also experience this wonderful sisterhood. I enjoy volunteering at the international level to be part of the solution of how to best meet the needs of our current members - both collegiate and alumnae.

Pi Phi Experience: In addition to several local volunteer roles, I have served as an Alumnae Programming Specialist, Pi Phi's Leadership and Nominating Committee, including as Chair, Director Operations and most recently as Alumnae Engagement Director for Region 8. I have also been a small group facilitator for Pi Beta Phi Leadership Institute.

Professional Experience: My professional career has been in municipal government, first within the social and community services sector and most recently doing intergovernmental relations. I have had the opportunity to work at local municipal level and provincially. Currently I am an Intergovernmental Affairs Strategist for a large municipality in Alberta.

Why do you want to serve as an International Officer? Pi Phi provides an exceptional experience for women of all ages to connect across North America, based on shared values and experiences and this intergenerational aspect of our organization is very important to me. Within my role, I get to work with women with diverse perspectives and unique talents and traits; I am honoured that I can have a role in supporting and connecting our members to further the mission of Pi Beta Phi. Women’s leadership also plays a large role in why I serve the Fraternity. I appreciate how Pi Phi promotes, encourages and supports women leaders by helping them to gain skills, knowledge and experience in a wide variety of ways and I hope to continue using my influence in making this possible for collegiate and alumnae members.
