Meeting Ritual Research Committee

Pi Beta Phi’s Meeting Ritual Research Committee (MRRC) has been tasked with examining the Ritual recited at the start and end of every Pi Beta Phi meeting and New Member meeting. Committee members will work to hear perspectives on the impact of Ritual today from Pi Phis across our sisterhood, while honoring the history of our Ritual which was written by D.C. Alpha Anna S. Hazelton in 1890 and adopted by the Fraternity in 1893.

We know members may have questions about this work and aim to address these through communications from the committee and the Fraternity. An FAQ document is available and will be regularly updated throughout the course of this process.

Pi Phi History

In 1867, 12 courageous young women at Monmouth College came together to form a sisterhood rooted in shared experiences, enduring values and Sincere Friendships. Today, more than 150 years and 300,000 members later, we continue to celebrate our founders' vision as sisters of Pi Beta Phi.
