With your gifts, Friendship Fund dollars help prepare members to lead with confidence, award scholarships to collegians and alumnae, fund our literacy work, care for our sisters, manage investments and meet the needs of the organization not covered by designated funds alone.

By offering a challenge gift tied to fundraising milestones, you motivate others to give and help unlock critical funds for programs like literacy initiatives, scholarships and leadership development. We’ve inherited the flame of friendship from the sisters who came before. Now, it’s up to us to keep that flame burning bright for new generations of members. When you give to our Foundation you provide the resources we need to preserve Pi Phi’s past, focus on our present and dream of a bright future for our sisterhood.

To amplify the collective support of our sisterhood on Pi Phi Giving Day, milestones have been identified to inspire sisters and friends to help us achieve our $225,000 goal. As these milestones are achieved through Pi Phi Giving Day, the gifts will be unlocked helping us move toward the next milestone together.

A $10,000 milestone gift from an Anonymous Angel will be unlocked when 186 new donors make their first gift to Pi Beta Phi Foundation for Pi Phi Giving Day.

A $10,000 milestone gift from Maryland Beta Trudy Hartzell Clark will be unlocked when we reach $100,000 raised for Pi Phi Giving Day.

A $10,000 milestone gift from Illinois Eta Mary Jane Buchele Johnson will be unlocked when we reach $150,000  raised for Pi Phi Giving Day.

A $18,670 milestone gift from Arizona Beta Sally Minning Shoemaker will be unlocked when we reach $200,000 raised for Pi Phi Giving Day.

We'd like to send a special thanks to our Pi Phi Giving Day challenge donors! Their contributions inspire us and celebrate the philanthropic spirit of our sisterhood.

Pi Phi Giving Day is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together. When 500 donors give $18 or more, a $5,000 challenge gift will be unlocked to amplify our collective impact and strengthen our sisterhood.

Every April 28, Pi Phi celebrates our sisterhood and the significance of our founding in 1867. Two hundred donors giving $186 or more will help unlock a $5,500 challenge gift.

The Evelyn Peters Kyle Society, named to honor and reflect the spirit of generosity with which she supported Pi Beta Phi Foundation, recognizes donors making annual gifts of $1,000 or more. Thirty donors giving $1,000 or more will help unlock a $7,500 challenge gift in honor of Evelyn Peters Kyle, a treasured volunteer leader and Pi Phi poet laureate.

In 1867, 12 courageous young women at Monmouth College came together to form a sisterhood rooted in shared experiences, enduring values and Sincere Friendships. Today, more than 150 years and 350,000 members later, we continue to celebrate our founders' vision as sisters of Pi Beta Phi. Twelve donors giving $1,867 or more will help unlock a $15,000 challenge gift to honor our past, focus on the present, and create a bright future for our sisterhood.
