Juli Holmes Willeman Elected President of Fraternity Executives Association

Published On: 2019-08-09

Pi Beta Phi® Fraternity for Women is honored to announce that Executive Director Juli Holmes Willeman, Iowa Beta, was installed as President of the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA) at the organization’s annual meeting in May 2019.

FEA is the professional association of men’s and women’s fraternity executives, dedicated to the common interests of its member organizations. As President, Willeman will lead a team of five fellow fraternity and sorority executives working to advance FEA’s professional development opportunities for members and promote the overall success of fraternal organizations. She was elected to her first term on the FEA Board of Directors in 2016.

“It’s no secret we are leading our organizations during a very challenging time in our history,” Willeman said to FEA members in her installation remarks. “The good news is that FEA is a safe place where we can support each other. We can, and we should, lift each other up every chance we get so we are best prepared to face those challenges in our own organizations and collectively in our industry.”

The outgoing FEA President and Pi Kappa Alpha CEO, Justin Buck, praised Willeman's leadership qualities. "Juli is the embodiment of a Pi Beta Phi leader," he said. "She constantly calls herself and others to greatness. Her laser focus on creating a smart and healthy organization will ensure the organization will continue to evolve and thrive for another 150 years."

Willeman has served as Executive Director of Pi Beta Phi since 2006 and is a graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. She joined the Pi Beta Phi Headquarters staff in 2001, first serving as Fraternity Controller.
