At Pi Beta Phi we value our sisters' company and try to spend plenty of time with each other. There are some organized sisterhood events for the whole chapter, as well as smaller spontaneous activities that we do with one another, like bowling, watching movies, and baking cookies. This year we've experienced pledge class dinners, a Superbowl party, and much more! No matter what the activity, we can find ways to appreciate each other's company.
Some of our planned sisterhood events that take place throughout the year include a chapter retreat each semester, monthly chapter dinners at the house, Big Sister revealing, Pink Party, Song Night, and celebrating Pi Beta Phi's founding date at our annual Founder's Day Tea.
Big Sister Revealing
We assign each of our new members a Big Sister. Big Sisters will leave presents and clues for their little's throughout the week and have a Big Sis reveal in the following Monday meeting!!! The little sisters join a long history of families and spend lots of time with their families.
It is a tradition to hold a Pink Party extravaganza here at CO Delta Pi Phi during Initiation week. Pink Party is always fun; it includes a competition for who can wear the most pink, pink food, and a sweet ceremony shared by the sisters. It is a fun event in anticipation of Initiation.
Founder's Day Tea
Every year we celebrate the day Pi Beta Phi was founded and we host the Jefferson County Alumni club at our home to mark the occasion. It is a blessing to get to know the alumni and hear stories from when they were collegians.
