Sisterhood is one of the best parts of life in Pi Beta Phi. California Delta is committed to fostering lasting friendships through our shared experiences and values. While our members spend much of their time studying and giving back to the community, we also offer a range of sisterhood events throughout each quarter. The activities we plan are as diverse as our members and are great opportunities to form unique friendships and strengthen existing bonds.
  • Sunset yoga in Malibu
  • Disneyland
  • Oscar's viewing party
  • Gingerbread house decorating
  • Movie nights
  • Halloween pumpkin carving
  • Ice skating in Santa Monica
  • Succulent pot painting

 presents1 Presents
Presents is a special event held by all the sororities on the UCLA campus. Each house goes to the quad area outside of the iconic Royce Hall and takes photos with their pledge class and the entire sorority in the fountains. This rite of passage ends with each sorority returning to their respective house and holding a ceremony for the new members and their parents. At UCLA Pi Phi, each girl is presented by her Big Sis to her sisters and parents with a luncheon to follow.
Big Sis Week
Big Sis Week is an entire week that occurs half way through the first quarter at UCLA in which the new members receive a “Big Sis” who becomes a friend and mentor in Pi Phi. Each day of this week, the new members are showered with gifts from their anonymous soon-to-be Big Sis, leading up to Friday when the Big Sis finally reveals herself!
