The Ohio Eta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi was founded in the fall of 1954 at Denison University. In 1953, Denison University's Panhellenic Council delayed sorority recruitment until the second semester. The university needed to add another sorority to accommodate an increase in freshman women at the school. Pi Beta Phi was selected to colonize at the university at this time. Over 25 Pi Phi alumnae in the Granville area helped find and furnish a chapter house before recruitment began in January!

Our chapter provides support, sisterhood, a home away from home, and a place where best friends join together!
