Hey Everyone!

My name is Clair Chapman and I am excited to serve as the Chapter President of the Texas Zeta chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Baylor University. Pi Phi has transformed my values and has allowed me to create life long friendships. I am thrilled to be a part of something so much bigger than myself.

My experience in Pi Beta Phi has been incredible. I am surrounded by a diverse group of girls who mentor me, encourage me and point me towards my true identity in Christ. The women of Pi Beta Phi have been a part of my best experiences at Baylor and I will continue to form new memories as we continue our relationships beyond college. Pi Phi has taught me about leadership, commitment, and community. Our community celebrates one another’s accomplishments and supports those who are in a time of need.

Our chapter has had a very exciting year. We just won the 2015 Intramural Championships, making this our 10th Intramural Championship Title. Intramurals are a blast to be apart whether you are playing the sports or cheering the athletes. We were also the only women's group to place in the Top 3 at All-University Sing in 2015. Our Nun themed act, "Back in the Habit", truly exemplified the spirit of our chapter: it was silly, fun, and showed our desire to work together and support one another. We are currently working on our new act that will be preformed in February of2016.

We were also recently awarded the Panhellenic Spirit Award at Baylor's Greek Life Awards because of our dedication to the other Panhellenic groups and support of Panhellenic service opportunities and events. We even donated over 160 teddy bears to Children’s Miracle Network. In addition, we were recognized as a Gold level chapter by the university, signaling us as a chapter of excellence. This summer we were recognized nationally and given a Spirit Award at the Pi Beta Phi convention for our chapter's improvement and our dedication to sisterhood. Our members enjoy serving the community through volunteering at Restoration Haven, serving at Steppin' Out, and participating in the Champions are Readers program at South Waco Elementary.

All-University Howdy, Pi Phi’s philanthropy event, was a huge success this year. Howdy is an event that brings together the whole Baylor community for a night of country dancing and barbeque. We raise money for our philanthropy, Read > Lead > Achieve, and this year we raised over $4,500!

I hope our website allows you to get a glimpse of what our chapter is like. I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such a great group of girls and humbled that I get to serve them as their Chapter President. If you have any questions you can contact me at
