Hello Everyone!

My name is Clair Chapman and I am excited to serve as the Chapter President of the Texas Zeta chapter of Pi Beta Phi atBaylor University. Pi Phi has transformed my values and has allowed me to create life long friendships. I am thrilled to be a part of something so much bigger than myself.

My experience in Pi Beta Phi has beenincredible. I am surrounded by a diverse group of girls who mentor me, encourage me and point me towards my true identity in Christ. The women of Pi Beta Phi have been a part of my best experiences at Baylor and I will continue to form new memories as we continue our relationships beyond college. Pi Phi has taught me about leadership, commitment, and community. Our community celebrates one another’s accomplishments and supports those who are in a time of need.

Our chapter has had a very exciting year. We just won the 2016 Intramural Championships, making this our 10th Intramural Championship Title. Intramurals are a blast to be a part whether you are playing the sports or cheering the athletes. We also placed 1st place in the 2016 All-University Sing. Our act, “MeetMe in Ze Alps” truly exemplified the spirit of our chapter: it was silly, fun, and showed our desire to work together and support one another.

We were recognized as a Gold level chapter bythe university, signaling us as a chapter of excellence. Our members enjoyserving the community through volunteering at Restoration Haven, serving at Steppin' Out, and participating in the Champions are Readers program at South Waco Elementary. In 2016, we received the FDS 500 grant, which allowed Pi Phi to donate 500 books to South Waco Elementary through First Book. We have also been selected to receive the grant again in 2017, where the books will bedonated to J.H. Hines Elementary.

All-University Howdy, Pi Phi’s philanthropy event, was a huge success this year. Howdy is an event that brings together the whole Baylor community for a night of country dancing and barbeque. We raise money for our philanthropy, Read > Lead > Achieve, and this year we raised over $4,500!

I hope our website allows you to get a glimpse of our chapter. I am honored to be surrounded by such a great group of girls and humbled that I get to serve them as their Chapter President. If you have any questions, contact me at
