5 Reasons to Live in a Chapter Facility

Living alongside sisters builds friendships and memories that last long after your time in college. But the best part of living in the chapter facility isn’t the house itself, it’s the people you share it with. Whether a traditional chapter home or a university residence hall, chapter facilities aren’t just living spaces—they’re communities. Moving into your chapter facility is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and learn among sisters. Are you wondering if living in is right for you? We outlined five reasons to consider calling Pi Phi home.

1. Find a support system

Support comes in all forms, and whatever that may look like to you, the sisters you live with have your back. There will always be someone ready to listen, lend a helping hand or share in your excitement.

2. Learn alongside live-in study buddies

Take the pressure off finals week by gathering a group of sisters for study sessions. Help each other test leadership skills, practice accountability, learn new concepts, prepare for exams and—most importantly—cheer each other on!

3. Meet new friends in familiar places

The moment you move into the chapter facility, you find your new family. Whether you become best friends with your suitemates or a sister you’ve never met before, there are new friendships right around the corner—literally.

4. Share meals and memories

When you live in a chapter facility, you can always count on a home-cooked meal at the end of the day. Savor your friendships and create sweet memories by gathering around the kitchen table and enjoying a meal every night.

5. Say goodbye to boredom

There is never a dull moment when you live in a house full of your best friends. Whether you’re in the mood for a movie marathon, a coffee run or a night out, there will always be a sister—or ten—ready to tag along and join the fun.

From the moment a member accepts their bid the Pi Phi chapter facility becomes a home-away-from-home. And that doesn’t change after you graduate. Living in the chapter facility ensures there is always a place to call home.
