A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Dear Potential New Member,
Welcome to Pi Beta Phi at the University of Mississippi. I am so happy that you have taken the time to view our website and learn more about the Mississippi Beta chapter of Pi Beta Phi. I am thrilled to be the 2015 President of Pi Phi and work closely with each member of our Executive Council. When I initially decided to go through recruitment my freshman year, I didn’t know what to expect. Even if you are unsure whether you want to be in a sorority or not, I highly encourage everyone to go through recruitment. I always knew I wanted to go Greek, but never knew what it was really all about. Going through recruitment was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only have I made friends that will last a lifetime, but Pi Phi has also given me the chance to get involved within the chapter itself and the community. Pi Phi has helped me become a better person and the person I am today. I will always be grateful for Pi Phi and I am so proud to wear my letters. My hope is that everyone going through recruitment will have the same sorority experience.
The Mississippi Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi is always growing and forming a stronger sisterhood every year. We always have fun at our philanthropy events such as Relay for Life and volunteering at The Boys and Girls Club. Each semester, our sisterhood grows stronger with our socials, sisterhood events, and our Pi Phi tent in the Grove. We are looking forward to this upcoming year and formal recruitment in the fall.
