A message from our president...

Welcome friends, family, and loved ones,

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about the vast opportunities Pi Beta Phi has to offer. I am sure all of this information seems to be a bit daunting, but do not fear, our Angels are here to offer you comfort and joy! Secondly, I would like to introduce myself to you all. My name is Priscilla Menjivar, a fourth year double major in Public Health Policy and Educational Sciences, and I am the Chapter President of Pi Beta Phi here at the University of California, Irvine. After being admitted as an incoming freshman, not only was I unsure of the involvements and friendships I was going to cultivate within a span of four years, I was unsure of how to begin my journey at this incredible institution. With some awareness about campus involvement, I came to a conclusion that I would join an organization that would encourage me to grow as an individual. Seems a bit intimidating, right? Through information sessions, involvement fairs, and more, as a first year student, I took the initiative to learn more about the essence of the Greek community, ranging from its emphasis on academics, social interactions, and philanthropic involvements. From then on, the rest is history and never in a million years could I have anticipated the impact that this chapter has made on me.

Pi Beta Phi is the first national secret college society for women, encouraging young women to become incredible assets within our local and at large communities since 1867. Our twelve founders envisioned a lifelong commitment that would allow individual growth and establish strong relationships nationwide. I am beyond proud to say that the women of Pi Beta Phi have continued that legacy for nearly 150 years.

Here at the California Eta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, our women solidify a genuine bond from the moment they interact with one another. Our diversity, our sincerity, and our generosity is truly what makes us uniquely crafted individuals. Constantly, our members support one another day to day by offering academic assistance, networking opportunities, shoulders to cry on, and smiles to share. My personal experience at Pi Beta Phi has been tremendously remarkable. These women have encouraged me to seek new heights and move out of my comfort zone. Through think and thin, I am beyond proud to call myself a Pi Phi.

If you have any further questions or would love to learn more about our organization, please feel free to contact us. Do not hesitate to say "halo." We would love to share our story with you and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Seek Yee the Beautiful and Good,

Priscilla Menjivar

Chapter President
