Welcome to the Texas Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Here at the University of Texas, we are so proud of our chapter, members and accomplishments! Pi Phi has been such a blessing these last three years providing me with loyal friendships, community involvement, and leadership opportunities. Growing up in small town Texas, I joined Pi Phi not knowing many people. However, coming from a house full of brothers, I feel like the experience in Phi Phi has truly showed me the meaning and value of sisterhood. One aspect I love about Pi Phi is that every girl is a little different, but despite the age difference, we all have developed a bond like no other.
2016 is an exciting time for Pi Phi because we are implementing some changes in our chapter. We are looking into starting new philanthropy events, on and off campus, in order to involve out chapter with organizations all over Austin. Right now, we have continued our tradition in helping young children to read in a local school called Zavala Elementary. Our members take great pride in the one on one time we spend with each chil d teaching them how to read. Our most recent project that we are really excited about is implementing a children's library in a local hospital! Other than philanthropy, we have been brainstorming ways to get involved on campus with other organizations. I am so proud of each and every member in our chapter; the goals and aspirations of every girl in Texas Alpha truly reiterate the Pi Phi values and reputation. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
