Collegiate Excellence in Community Relations

New York Epsilon, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

New York Epsilon strengthened its connection to the community through intentional philanthropic programming and meaningful, consistent engagement both on and off campus. Through tabling efforts and philanthropy events, New York Epsilon maintained a visible and engaging presence on campus, making it easy for students to learn about Pi Phi’s literacy initiatives. Beyond campus, the chapter launched a new STEAM club in partnership with a local elementary school. Each week, members led hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity, foster creativity and develop problem-solving skills while building meaningful relationships with students. Together, these efforts reflect a year of purposeful service, strong community partnerships and a commitment to creating lasting impact.

Collegiate Excellence in Finance/Housing

New York Delta, Cornell University

New York Delta demonstrated a strong commitment to financial stewardship through thoughtful planning, transparency and member education. By consistently operating within its approved budget and maintaining careful oversight of chapter finances, officers ensured resources were managed responsibly and in alignment with chapter priorities. New York Delta regularly shares how dues are allocated and details the costs associated with major events and operational expenses. This transparency fosters shared understanding and helps members better understand the financial decisions that support the chapter experience. Beyond chapter finances, New York Delta invests in members’ personal growth through financial literacy education. The chapter also continues to contribute to its named scholarship fund through Pi Beta Phi Foundation, reinforcing alignment between financial stewardship and the Fraternity’s mission.

Collegiate Excellence in Inclusion

New York Epsilon, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

New York Epsilon fostered a culture of belonging by intentionally creating spaces for members to share their perspectives, strengthen connections and shape the chapter experience. Through member forums, sisters were encouraged to share genuine concerns, ideas and reflections. These conversations inspired initiatives such as a domestic violence awareness workshop and Support a Sister, a shared channel for members to celebrate one another’s involvement in sports, student organizations and other campus activities. The chapter also expanded its outreach through partnerships with the Indian Student Association and Lambda Chi Alpha, hosting cultural events such as Holi and Tastes & Traditions. Beyond its own membership, New York Epsilon worked to advance a more inclusive campus community by sharing its efforts with other Panhellenic organizations and hosting a DEI Open Forum for Potential New Members during recruitment.

Collegiate Excellence in Member Experience

South Carolina Alpha, University of South Carolina

South Carolina Alpha cultivated a strong member experience through intentional programming, meaningful traditions and consistent opportunities for connection and growth. Throughout the year, the chapter hosted nearly 20 sisterhood events, creating spaces for members to connect in both intimate and large-group settings. The chapter also prioritized the growth and development of its newest members. Weekly New Member meetings, offered twice per week, provided opportunities for education, mentorship and relationship building. In addition to supporting current collegians, South Carolina Alpha celebrated the lifelong Pi Phi experience through a Founders’ Day celebration with more than 300 collegians and alumnae in attendance.

Collegiate Excellence in Operations

Tennessee Gamma, University of Tennessee

Throughout the year, Tennessee Gamma’s Operations Team implemented new practices designed to help members identify opportunities to lead, contribute and make the most of their collegiate experience. By enhancing the management of member profiles, the chapter was able to more effectively connect members with leadership opportunities, resulting in 66 members seeking leadership roles. The chapter also refined its point system, encouraging participation in campus organizations and activities. As a result, 90% of members were actively involved across campus. To further support chapter leaders, the Chapter Leadership Team also hosted a leadership retreat at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, focused on team building, communication skills, goal setting and strategic planning for the upcoming year.

Collegiate Excellence in Recruitment

Ohio Zeta, Miami University

Ohio Zeta experienced a milestone year in recruitment, building on the momentum of its re-establishment and strengthening its presence on campus. As the chapter’s second formal recruitment since their re-establishment, chapter members approached the experience with a commitment to building meaningful connections. Through mock conversations and reflection workshops, members developed confidence in themselves and the values that define the chapter. By emphasizing authenticity, Ohio Zeta created an environment where Potential New Members consistently shared they felt welcomed, comfortable and genuinely connected. These efforts translated into remarkable recruitment success; Ohio Zeta finished over total and became the second-largest chapter on campus.

Collegiate Excellence in Risk Management
